DEATH: June 13, 1976
Billy, 16, was the victim of serial killer and rapist John Wayne Gacy. Billy disappeared suddenly on June 13, 1976. Billy left home one day, and he was never seen alive again. He was sexually assaulted and buried in the crawl space of John Wayne Gacy’s house. His body was found two years later.
All of John Gacy’s victims were young men between the ages of nine and twenty-seven. His method of killing was to first lure the boys into his house. Then he would usually get them drunk or trick them into handcuffs and tie them to a chair. To muffle their screaming, he would often stuff socks or underwear into their mouths. From there, he would sexually assault them, and then kill the victim by pulling a rope or board against their throats. Gacy admitted that many times, before burying the victim’s body in the crawlspace of his house, he would first keep the dead bodies under his bed or in the attics for several hours.
John Wayne Gacy was found guilty of 33 murders and sentenced to death. He was executed May 10, 1994 in Illinois.
