Shayné Lauree Bentler ~ Age 14
Shayne, 14, was killed along with her father, Michael Joseph Bentler, mother, Sandra Lee Bentler, two sisters, Shelby Marie Bentler and, Sheena Lee Bentler, by her older brother in their home. Their brother was found guilty of the murders and sentenced to life in prison without parole. He killed his family to inherit the estate. After he was convicted the court ruled that his daughters would each get half of the estate. He couldn’t benefit from the money at all.
